CITY X / WHEN LOVE FAILED (REVISITED)
"Thats right!!! I went through all of my songs and edited them a little bit (via Fruity Loops Studios 9),
and added sound effects, I took out the useless guitar-duet in the second album and mixed "When
Love Failed" and "On Your Own" together to make a HIDDEN TRACK!!!
So I have remastered versions of the self titled album and "When Love Failed"."

Senor Review
Album review of Alec Redboltz's City X
Score is 6.5/10
Alec Redboltz has released his album called, “City X”. It features 9 rock tracks that he has created on his own. Some of his songs are pretty slow and heavy while the other songs create a lighter and sometimes happier feeling like the finishing track “Goodbye”.
It has some alright sounding tracks to listen to. The starting song “Believe” is a great way to start off the album. The other songs follow a long quite nicely as well. The sounds are pretty heavy with the hard guitars but they also may play some lighter and happier riffs and maybe a mix of both. “My Alter Ego” is an example of a little bit of heavy and light riffs.
However, this wasn't much of a satisfaction to the ears. A few songs were quite boring and not much of a mind blower. Some songs in City X have replayed a riff quite a lot which makes the song become repetitive and boring. A few parts don't link from one to the other so well so the song may get a bit jumpy.
The album is alright but it has it's downsides. While some tracks are alright but they're boring and bland parts pulled it away from being given a higher score. As Z3nest3r, (Senor Review) hates giving low scores but his opinion of this album was not bad but also not good and so this album gets a 6.5/10.
Tip: In a few song, some riffs tend to get repeated over and over. While it can be acceptable to repeat a riff a few times, over doing it makes the song become bland. Also, sometimes, your songs can jump from one place to another. You can use some good transitions as they can be helpful to move from one part to the next to avoid such a problem from happening.
